Almost 17 Years. One Incredible Journey. And Now, a New Chapter.

Almost 17 years ago, I took a chance on a dream.

I never could have imagined where that journey would lead, the incredible people I would meet along the way, or what 4Bush Weapons Refinishing Systems would eventually become.

Today, with a grateful heart and more than a few mixed emotions, I am announcing my retirement and the transition of the business to new ownership.

For almost 17 years, this shop has been much more than a business to me. It has been a passion, a challenge, a learning experience, and a huge part of my life.

There have been countless hours spent learning, improving, creating, solving problems, and trying to deliver work that both my customers and I could be proud of. There have been good days, difficult days, long days, and plenty of moments when I wondered what I had gotten myself into.

But there have also been some incredible accomplishments, some amazing projects, and relationships that have made it all worthwhile.

And when I look back on these nearly 17 years, it's the people I think about the most.

To my customers, friends, family, fellow business owners, and everyone who has supported 4Bush WRS along the way—thank you.

Thank you for your trust.

Thank you for your referrals.

Thank you for your support.

And thank you for your friendship.

A small business doesn't survive for almost 17 years without great people standing behind it, and I have been incredibly fortunate to have some of the very best.

I also want to recognize the past and present members of the 4Bush WRS team who have been part of this journey over the years.

Every person who has worked here has contributed something to the story of this business. Some were here for a short time, some for many years, but each played a part in helping build 4Bush WRS into what it became. I am grateful for the work, the friendships, the lessons, the laughs, and even the challenges we shared along the way.

And I especially want to recognize Rick, my shop manager, who has been an important part of the success and legacy of 4Bush WRS.

Rick's knowledge, hard work, dedication, and commitment have helped shape this business and the reputation it has earned over the years. He has been an important part of this journey, and I am genuinely grateful to have had him beside me through so much of it.

I am also very pleased to announce that Lucas and Ross of Romann Utility Machines will be taking over the business.

They are not simply stepping into my shoes. They are taking on the opportunity to build upon what has been established here over nearly 17 years while bringing their own ideas, direction, and plans for the future.

I believe that is exactly how it should be. I built this business my way, and now it is their opportunity to take what has been created and make it their own.

Rick will be an important part of that transition, helping pass along the knowledge and experience he has gained as my shop manager. I will also be working with Lucas and Ross during the transition to help make the handoff as smooth as possible.

Customers can continue to reach the shop the same way during the transition. Lucas and Ross have expressed their commitment to maintaining the quality of work and service that Rick and I have worked hard to establish.

While the future will be theirs to shape, I hope the reputation, relationships, knowledge, and standards built over these nearly 17 years give them a strong foundation to build upon.

This decision has not been easy. There is a piece of my heart in this business, and walking away from something I have spent nearly 17 years building is definitely bittersweet.

But I am also excited about what comes next.

As for me, I'm looking forward to retirement and to having some time for the things that life doesn't always leave much room for when you're running a business.

Almost 17 years is a long time.

It's a lot of early mornings, late nights, hard work, mistakes, lessons learned, successes, challenges, laughs, frustrations, and memories.

Most of all, it's a lot of people.

You are what made this journey special.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for allowing me to do what I love for almost 17 years.

Thank you to every customer, friend, family member, business associate, past team member, and current team member who played a part in this journey.

And thank you for being part of the story.

It's been one heck of a ride.

Here's to the next chapter—for me, for Rick, for Lucas and Ross, and for whatever the future holds.
